SC Conference of Local Education Foundations

The 2nd annual Conference of Local Education Foundations was held on Wednesday November 4th at the South Carolina Department of Archives and History in Columbia. This is the ONLY statewide gathering of non-profits, businesses and educators working to increase private support for K-12 public education in South Carolina.

Dozens of passionate public education supporters came eager to create, grow and elevate local education foundations across South Carolina. Seminars from some of the most knowledgeable experts in the state were held on: Fundraising, Creating an Education Foundation, Taking Your Foundation to the Next Level, Building Collaborative Groups Within Your Community, Using the Internet to Build Your Foundation, Legal and Tax Issues and Non-Profit Advocacy.
